This exquisitely colorful Senneh carpet is the product of the Kurdish regions of north-central Persia, referred to as Kurdistan in modern Iran. The pattern is unmistakably from the Herati design repertoire and although most probably the product of a village loom and weaver is executed to maximum opulence and delicacy .
