Catalan born sculptor and painter Fabrés was recognized in diverse circles. One of the most important Spanish artist of the century he was Acclaimed in Barcelona, London, Paris, Vienna and Mexico City and Lyon. In 1902 appointed head Academia de San Carlos in Mexico City his students included Diego Rivera.
